Accessing a Private Client's Investment Plans:
Step 1:
Open the Navigation Bar and click on 'Clients', then from the dropdown menu, select 'Private Clients':
Step 2:
This will take you to the Private Clients page. Here you can search for clients by their name and/or email address:
To edit their Private Client record, click on the eye icon in the 'Links' section to the left-hand side of the screen:


Step 3:
Once you have accessed the Private Client's CRM record, click on the heading for ‘Investment Plans’ or ‘Protection Plans’ depending on the type of plan which you want to add to the client's record:

Next, click the 'Add Investment Plan' button:
Once you have clicked the 'Add Investment Plan' button, a new page will open with editable fields allowing you to add the relevant information to the new plan.
Creating Investment Plans:
General Info:
The 'General Info' page contains the core plan details including status, ownership, valuation, underlying securities and relevant tags.
Fields that have a red asterisk against them are mandatory fields and will require a value to be entered before the plan can be saved:
General:
The 'Shell Ownership' and 'Shell Clients' fields will need to be added to the plan to associate it with a client record. By default they will be populated as being individually owned by the client:
To edit the 'Shell Ownership' and/or 'Shell Clients' fields, click on the pencil icon to the right-hand side of the 'Shell Ownership' field:

Once you have clicked the pencil icon, the below pop-up will appear:

The plan’s ‘Shell Ownership’ can be selected from a dropdown list of options depending on how many owners the plan has. e.g. individually owned, joint ownership, scheme owned, or trust owned.
Within the 'Shell Clients' section, you would need to search for the client via their email address and select the client from the dropdown menu. You will then need to allocate a percentage to the client depending whether they fully own the plan in which case it should be 100%, or 50% if a jointly held plan with another client. You would need to search for the joint client in the 'Select Client' lookup:

Press 'Update' once you have finished setting up the 'Shell Ownership' and 'Shell Clients' fields:

In the 'Investment Information' section you can add the plan's portfolio and portfolio type, as well as the plan's underlying investments.
To add a investments, click on the 'Add Investment' button:

This will allow you to search for the 'Type' of investment and the specific 'Security':
Once the investment 'Type' and 'Security' have been selected, you will be able to add further information (e.g. units if the chosen 'Security' is a fund):
Once you have entered the security's information and clicked 'Save', this will be shown in the 'Investments' grid:

The 'Transactions' page contains the plan's contributions and withdrawals, as well as the overall transactions encountered by the plan:
